Since studying as part of my Graphic Design & Photography degree, photography has always been a major part of my life as a designer. Describing myself as an enthusiastic amateur, I have always had a passion for it.

Shooting in black and white is a style that I love as I find the tonal contrasts in the final output fascinating. However, I am a keen baker and have since come to find a similar appreciation for colour after photographing different types of food. 

 

I had the pleasure of being asked to photoshoot a high quality printer based in Kent. Forming part of the major rebrand I was also designing for them, this bespoke set of images became an integral part of the new brand look and feel, showcasing all the company values - passion, expertise, innovation and technology.

I have also had the opportunity to shoot some bespoke imagery for a large dairy farm client. This increased the library of branded images for them which, in turn, reduced the need for using stock imagery for advertising their products.

​

As a designer, I understand the power of combining layout, typography and imagery. Having this passion for photography helps me produce effective design for both print and digital.
